Palm oil is a common cooking ingredient in the tropical belt of Africa, Southeast Asia and parts of Brazil. Its use in the commercial food industry in other parts of the world is buoyed by its lower cost and by the high oxidative stability of the refined product when used for frying. As we are known, Malaysia and Indonesia are the main countries of palm oil-producing, which occupy over 80% of global palm oil output.
PALM OIL EXTRACTION PROCESS can be classified into the follow seven parts:
1. Fruit Reception System
This system is the first step of the palm oil plant and it is featured with automatic operation, labor & time saving.
A. Automatic weighing and automatic unloading/loading result in boosted production efficiency.
B. Moving along the fixed rails, cage carts are operated mechanically, which saves labor and time.
2. Sterilizing System
The sterilizing system can ensure the quality of palm oil and be helpful to the next step.
A. Palm fruit sterilization with pressurized steam can effectively put an end to the activity of catabolic enzyme, ensuring the quality of palm oil and reducing oil loss. It will also preliminarily desiccate the palm kernels, that is helpful to the follow-up step - drying and husking of palm kernels.
B. The horizontal tank of the sterilizer is in a novel and advanced structure with complete accessories. The machine is also quipped with a unique device for quickly opening the door, safe, reliable and easy to be operated.
3. Palm Fruit Threshing System
The threshing system is used to separate the fruits from the bunches.
