Further to your recent interview I have pleasure in confirming the University’s wish to offer you the contract position of Postdoctoral Researcher in Biochemistry at NUI Galway. This offer is made conditional on our receiving confirmation of your medical fitness, and work authorisation in your respect. The salary on offer is € 44,871 per annum pro rata and the position is available from 1st June 2010 to 31st March 2011.

In order to obtain work authorisation in your respect I require that you complete sections 1 and 2 of the enclosed hosting agreement, attach photo(s), sign and return it to me as soon as possible.

You are further required to complete the attached Employee Record Card and return it to me. The details requested on this form are required for payroll purposes and will be treated as confidential (you may submit this when you arrive). Finally, please submit a copy of your birth certificate or passport as official evidence of age and evidence of qualification(s) specified in your application (original copies). A passport sized photo is also required for ID card purposes.

Enclosed please find your Statement of Main Terms and Particulars of Employment which I would ask you to sign and return to me.   A copy of this Contract when signed by us will then be forwarded to you.
