      Every person in the world is different and every person has a right
to be employed. However, not everyone gets employment according to
his/her skills because of which most end up in wrong careers. Although
there is a career for everyone, finding the right one suiting the
candidate is often ignored. For an employer, it has always been a
challenge to find a candidate with right employability skills.
According to a survey entitled “Achieving Necessary Skills” conducted
by TMI First, more than 50% graduates pass out without basic knowledge
required to find and hold onto a good job.

"Employability refers to a person's capability of gaining initial
employment, maintaining employment, and obtaining new employment In
simple terms, employability is about being capable of getting and
keeping work.

What are Employability Skills?

Employability skills are those core skills within the curriculum, well
developed within many departments. Employability skills include key
skills BUT have an emphasis on relating skills beyond the academic
setting to an employment context. In order to secure suitable
employment, students also need help developing the skills to actively
market themselves.
