Noah’s Ark

Then the LORD said, "My Spirit will not contend with man forever, for he is mortal; his days will be a hundred and twenty years.” Noah's Ark was an incredible story about faith, determination, dedication and triumph. It was meant to give inspiration to the uninspired and make people believe that with a little persistence anything is possible. One of the most well-known events that has ever happened in history is the flood of Noah’s Ark. Before the flood, it never rained on the Earth before. Also, the people on the Earth were a wicked generation; they were rebellious against god and his wishes. All except a man named Noah, son of Lamech, his sons; Shem, Han, and Japheth, and they’re wives. Noah and his family listened to god’s wishes and obeyed him. This caused them to be ridiculed by the sinful people, especially when god instructed Noah to build an Ark for the rain, but Noah continued to follow god’s commands.
Before the flood, God saw great wickedness in the world and decided to wipe mankind off the face of the earth. God told Noah to build an ark because “The end to all flesh is before me,” meaning, the wickedness of mankind, the disobedience of Gods law and worship of idols. “For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark.” (bibletabs.com)   The people didn’t know anything about the flood or the coming of Son of Man, but yet they still didn’t have faith. This shows that many people in Noah’s days were disobedient to the Son of Man. Not that there was a lot of rejection toward Noah or God, but if Noah were to let people know about the coming of the Son, it would most likely turn towards the boy who cried wolf situation, other than the fact that he knows when the floods going to happen.
