Wal-Mart and Target, these stores offer the convenience of having everything under one roof for a great shopping experience. Shopping at your local grocery store is not enough these days. Consumers can buy so much more at these discount retailers. Both stores are brightly lit up with inviting bright colors. Their advertisements are similar also. Both stores have extra small businesses inside their stores. Target has a Starbucks Coffee for the shopper that needs caffeine in the morning. Wal-Mart has a Subway for those early morning shoppers that like to have a breakfast sandwich before they shop. I would say that the Starbucks is a better choice for breakfast coffee than Subway. The coffee is made as you order it at Starbucks so it is fresh. At Subway I really do not know how long it has been since the coffee was brewed.
The Target entrance is more accessible to drive into than a Wal-Mart. Target has wider parking spaces for your vehicles than Wal-Mart.   Entering into a Target parking lot is much easier than trying to enter into a Wal-Mart parking lot. Finding a convenient place to park is a big priority when I go shopping, wider parking spaces means I have more room to put a cart between the automobiles. Parking lots with wider parking spaces makes unloading my purchases is much easier also.
When I enter a Target store the people seem so much more friendly and nice. Wal-Mart has greeters that look like they are there just to collect a paycheck. The Target greeter actually helps you with whatever you need. An example of this is when I took my grandmother shopping; the Target greeter was so observant that she found a motorized chair for my grandmother to sit in. My grandmother has had a stroke and walking for extended lengths of time is very hard on her. I appreciated the help from the greeter very much.
