Computer seems to be one of the greatest wonders of the modern world. It has already revolutionized our lives more than anything we have invented so far and today it is hardly possible to imagine the world without this appliance.

Undoubtedly, a major advantage of computers is that they are time-saving devices, making all kinds of work more effective and easier. All branches of science and industry make use of them, for example in factories computers control assembly lines and in hospitals-certain extremely difficult and precise operations. However, when it is true to say that computer technology stimulates technological progress, it cannot be denied that it is one of the main causes of the unemployment problem. Computerisation makes many people lose their job as computers have proved to work better.
