Ocean pollution is very harmful to people and Sea life. People need to stop polluting in the ocean. Dead zones are really deadly to the environment cars are a very deadly thing to they are the easiest way to pollute. With all that pollution the animals that live in the ocean die.
The deadly oceanic desert is full of phytoplankton but it is full of things besides phytoplankton like millions of pounds of trash. Almost all of the garbage dumpings are floating in the middle of the ocean. From Howstuffworks.com it says,” The gyre has actually given birth to two large masses of ever-accumulating trash, known as the Western and Eastern Pacific Garbage Patches, sometimes collectively called the Great Pacific. “The eastern garbage patches floats between Hawaii and California scientist say it is bigger than Texas. The western garbage patch form right in between Japan and west of Hawaii. All of that trash comes from all over the globe. Actually, most of the dumping that were dumped in the 1990’s is still there today. The sea life is dying down from more and more ocean pollution.
Far middle portions of the world have just naturally little life they are considered dead zones. Dead zones are hypoxic (low-oxygen) areas in the world's oceans. The UN Environment Programme published in 2003 that there are 143 dead zones then, in 2008 scientist found out that there were 405 worldwide. All the fish are dying faster because the oxygen level is disinigrating and the water is full of chemicals. Dead zones have doubled sense the 1960’s.They have all kinds of sizes of dead zones some are 0.4 square kilometer but there is a lot of dead zones that are 70,000 square kilometer. Cars are the real things that are polluting the ocean sense everyone uses them.
Cars are the real reasons of dead zones. The smoke that comes from the cars goes right towards the ocean. Cars are a big deal in ocean pollution because you are killing animals every time you use your car and smoke...
