Program Planning and Evaluation Paper

In the following essay I will be comparing program planning with program evaluation in human services organizations, I will also describe how the two components are related. I will identify specific examples of how program planning and evaluation interrelate. I will also identify technical and political aspects of program planning and evaluation that might be encountered in my program, and explain how these aspects could affect planning and the evaluation process. Program evaluation is used to provide pertinent information to help improve the quality of programs and the delivery of services.   There are many factors that can easily make planning and evaluation a task that is undesirable. Program planning and evaluation are similar as they are both goal-driven activities that include many different thinking processes. In addition, they are both products of economic and political realities that are constantly evolving.   In order to achieve success in the two, one must master the art of balance and inclusiveness if ideology and reality.
