Girls in Tears is the fourth book in the ‘Girls’ series by Jacqueline Wilson.   It's all about love, friendship and everyday life as a teenage girl. It’s good as I can relate to the characters in the book easily and know how they feel! The title suggests it is an emotional book, which I thought was interesting.
This book is about a girl called Ellie and her two best friends Magda and Nadine. They do everything together but each of them are in their own little worlds. Ellie's loved up with her new boyfriend Russel, Nadine is in love with a boy from the internet and Magda is mourning over her dead hamster. With each of them off in their own little worlds, misunderstandings start to happen and the girls go their separate ways.   Ellie's relationship with Russel seems to be falling apart, Magda's still mourning over her dead hamster and starts being nasty to Ellie, and Nadine doesn’t listen to the dangers Ellie has told her about the boy from the internet… Magda and Nadine separate one way and Ellie the other. Each of the chapters are named to do with “girls in tears” either meaning happy tears or sad tears. One is...
