CONCERT REPORT #1
On Tuesday, March 22nd, I attended a Choral Artists Recital at the Moores School of Music at the University of Houston.   The recital was given as partial fulfillment of the requirements for the Doctor of Musical Arts degree for conductors, Kevin M. Klotz and Paulo Gomes.   The recital was split in two parts.   Mr. Klotz conducted the first half of the recital and Mr. Gomes conducted the second half.   Both parts were very formal with the men in tuxedos and the women in evening gowns.   While the two parts were very different from each other, they were both equally enjoyable.

It almost felt as though they could have done without the instruments and I do not think anyone would have even noticed.
Mr. Gomes program was very different from Mr. Klotz in that Mr. Gomes...
