My Bronze Expedition Log

We started our exhibition at Spelga dam on the Friday morning. We thought it was great getting a day off school to do our Duke of Edinburgh. We went to the school hall to get our kit checked and make sure we haven’t forgotten anything important . That was the worst possible start as I was already muddy in my waterproofs but it didn’t dampen my spirit and I managed to laugh off the unfortunate event.

We continued on across the hill and decided to start to walk down it as the grass where we were was very marshy and long. As we descended one of the people in our groups sleeping bag string snapped and so we had to reattach that to his bag before we continued on. This member of our group will hold us back a few times on this trip as you will find out later on. On our descent down the hill...
