A Study of The Current Situations of CCTV’s Daily News Broadcast(DNB)

                                Abstract
This paper provides an analysis on DNB, one of the most renowned and traditional news program in China, under the pressure of losing audience rating. Based on previous related studies, the paper explores the major causes that lead to audience loss. Besides the study make a comparison between DNB and News1+1(N11). And according the inspiration from N11, the author comes up with many suggestions on its reformation. And the paper comes to the conclusion that DNB needs to reform both its language style and content selection tendency to overcome challenges. Also it cannot be entertaining, which needs reformers to achieve a balance between attracting audiences and maintaining its dignity!
