The centrifuge mainly separates, dewaters, clarifies and concentrates materials, which is applicable to environmental protection, food, chemical industry, etc. and can be specifically applied to treatments on municipal sewage, drinking water, industrial sewage, wheat starch, distillers’ grains, paper pulp, clay suspension, etc.

The equipment applies the principle of centrifugal sedimentation to separate suspension, and the suspension is pumped through the feed tube into the center of the screw conveyor, where it is dispersed into the rotating bowl. Under the effect of centrifugal force, solid particles are pushed onto inner walls of bowl, flights on screw conveyor push solid particles to the small end of bowl and discharge them, and liquid overflows from overflow holes at the big end of bowl.

Bowl consists of a cylinder and a tapered cone, which are joined with big and small plates at both ends, concentrically installed on bearing pedestals at both ends and fixed on the base. Screw conveyor is concentrically installed in the bowl by bearings, output shaft of differential is connected to splined sleeve by splined shaft, housing is connected to the bowl by connecting flange, and speed difference is produced through their rotations.
